Product Page Conversion Checklist
The elements a product page needs before you spend more on traffic, in the order a shopper actually reads them.

A product page has one job: remove enough doubt that buying feels like the easy choice. Shoppers read it in a rough order, so build it in that same order rather than filling slots your theme happens to offer.
What the shopper needs first
- A product name plus one line that says what it does for them
- A primary image that answers what it is, and a second that answers how big it is
- Price and delivery expectation visible without scrolling on mobile
- One prominent add to cart button, styled unlike every other button
What removes doubt next
- Short, scannable benefits before long descriptions
- Materials, dimensions, ingredients or specifications in a predictable block
- Photos or short video showing the product in real use
- Reviews that mention the specific product, placed within reach of the button
- Returns and shipping answered inline as a collapsible block
Selection details that quietly lose sales
- Variants shown as tappable options rather than a small dropdown
- Out of stock states explained, with an alternative offered
- Size guidance placed next to the size selector
- Selected variant reflected in image and price immediately
Only after the above works
- Related products that genuinely complete the purchase
- Bundle or quantity offer with the saving stated plainly
- Post-purchase upsell instead of a distraction before checkout
A useful test: hand your phone to someone who has never seen the product and ask them what it costs, when it arrives and what happens if it does not fit. If they hesitate on any of the three, that is your next fix.
